AFAIK, interactive is any 5250 data stream process. This includes any manner of front end that you may have. Dumb terminal, emulation (it's pretending to be a dumb terminal), Client Access (it's pretending to be a dumb terminal), telnet (does 'terminal emulation' give a clue), screen scraper (emulation with a pretty face). I'm curious, is there anyone on this list that works in a shop with a S/390? Is that platform being penalized for any 3270 data stream processing?
