Hi, I am not sure if here is a clue but...: In the user profile there is a special environment parameter, if it is set to *S36 you are running S36 emulation. You can start the s36 session emulation from command line 'strs36'. If you are in S36 environment you can see it i.e. from the terminal names. They have 2 characters only.
