Booth, Client Access Express does not support shared folders like the APPC versions of CA/400. Express requires Netserver to provide this type of access. The problem is that V3R7 does not offer Netserver. You'll have to use CA/400 instead of the Express client. You must also make sure that the user profile is in the system directory and authorized to access the QDLS folders you are trying to map. hth, Eric DeLong -----Original Message----- From: booth@martinvt.com [mailto:booth@martinvt.com] Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2001 10:12 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: V3R7, 510, Client Access Express and mapping QDLS as a network drive V3R7, 510, Client Access Express, Novell and mapping QDLS as a network drive Is there a limitation that would make this not work? I can map a network drive through Novell and IPX with the old Client Access but Client Access Express won't let QDLS be found. In reading the help section it suggests opening Network in the Windows Control Panel folder and changing the Properties of the IPX properties for Source to anything but OFF. I did that but it still doesn't work. _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
