The following gave me 1899-12-30 as the base date

 DCURRDATE         S               D   DATFMT(*ISO) INZ(D'2001-03-18')
 DBASEDATE         S               D   DATFMT(*ISO) INZ(D'2001-03-18')
 C     CURRDATE      SUBDUR    36968:*D      BASEDATE                 
 C                   DSPLY                   BASEDATE                 
 C                   SETON                                        LR
