Check your parallel port settings.  The dongles only work with certain types.  We had it here and found out that it does not support S36 environment mixed with RPG III & RPG IV and ILE.  Sent it back.

If this is the wrong forum, please let me know.
Has anyone had experience with California Software's Baby400? I bought a version a few years back that required a dongle. Haven't used it a whole lot - just between contracts.
Tried it two weeks ago and apparently the dongle quit working. I contacted CA and got a quick turnaround from a sales rep who stated that he would give me a 'free' upgrade if I paid $2,400 for the annual maintenance - which I had never bothered with.
My response was that I thought that was pretty steep for a small piece of hardware. (hey don't use dongles anymore.)
Bottom line, I have software I cannot use because the hardware doesn't work and they won't replace it....unless I come up with $2,400.
Is there a similar product that gives a PC the look and feel of an AS/400. I just want it for messing around between contracts.
Again, my apologies if this is the wrong forum.
Thanks,
