So far the limits are 99,999 of these RPGLE-socket enabled programs on any
combination of 65535 ports. A typical install uses 7 of these programs that
reply to 250 requests every hour within 2 seconds.

No triggers, No ODBC, No SQL, No dot.anything. Just RPG code old and new.

How many simultaneous connections does an RPGLE-socket interface support?
Most socket servers are written in C and use threads to support multiple
concurrent conversations.  Wouldn't an RPG socket server be a bottleneck?
