RE: AS400....is it really an "Open" system??

I've posted a number of sockets examples over the years to the RPG400-L
mailling list (also at midrange.com).   You might try seaerching the
archives.

Also, the "Who knew you could do that with RPG IV" redbook does some
sockets stuff.   I can't say that I've read it (I was already using
sockets before that redbook came out) but I saw it in the table of
contents. :)

On a few occasions, I've tried writing web pages to explain some of 
this stuff, but I never seem to finish them :)
