If you have Client Access, and the appropriate security, you can cut & paste 
from any 400 file - data or source or spool - directly into any PC 
application.

Well we did that to Word & instantly were reminded we needed a template in 
Word of a good width with respect to what was coming in.

IIt so happens that one of the AS400 network newsletters has been doing a 
series on something similar - here is what was in the latest installment.
