The machines in question weren't running anything except the test
applications.  That leads to the biggest point in favor of OS/400.  In my
experience, at least, OS/400 manages a complex workload easily.  Complexity
seems to destabilize Windows.

iseries is way too high, I must ask: "what OTHER things are
you using those servers (both of them).
