RE: Copyfile to PC with fixed record length

Your text :I want to copy the file somewhere accesible to a PC,

Your text :records, but all records get truncated to the last
Your text :non-blank character.

Your text :- CPYTOSTMF
Your text :- FTP
Your text :How can it be done? Any suggestions? TIA

try this prior to transfer:

If you are a client to an as/400
quote site trim 0

If you are on the AS/400
locsite trim 0

The byte count should be higher now, and correct. Your file viewer may try
to trick you depending on settings for preserving trailing spaces.
