All, Just got the daily paper. Guess what's on the front page. U.S. Rep Brad Sherman (D-Calif) has proposed that the left coast shift two hours instead of just one. Supposed to save them a whole bunch of energy. He sponsored HR704, the Energy Time Adjustment Authorization Act, which allows Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada to have another one hour jump around the first of May. I didn't make this up. From the article, this has been done in the past. It allows each state to determine it's own policy. So while California may use it, Washington may not choose to and Oregon may just delay the date of the normal daylight saving time adjustment. Nevada will most likely just set odds on it ever happening. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
