  • Subject: twinax issue (those pre-historic things) with PCI cards

Anyone come up with this problem?

The main producers of PCI Twinax cards are BOS, Perle, Nlynx/DD, and IBM.
Many new PC's utilize the new Intel 800 series chip set (810e, 815e, etc.).
Something in that chipset (irq 15?, PCI bridge?) disables the BOS, Perle,
and IBM PCI cards. I understand that Nlynx/DD never had the problem and
that IBM has already fixed their cards.

Any with real info?
