Jim,
When we have the need for this, we merely drag the spool file to a folder on
the PC and then open that text file with Excel.
At least his works great if you are on CA. I would assume you are if you
are using PCs.

Subject: Suggestions for importing Spool Files

I am looking for solutions for the following situation.

I want to import spooled reports to Excell.

We do not have and RPG compiler, nor do we have access to the source
        members.

I know there are Vendors that provide such utilities, but have never
had a
        need for one before.

CPYSPLF is just too cumbersome for a user.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

        Thanks
