Lance,

There is a Retrieve Job Information API. Most of the return formats give information of the jobtype. See the manuals for more information.

Subject: Knowing running environment inside rpgiv

Is there a way for an rpgiv program to know if it is running in batch or
interactive?
I know a cl can make that determination, but don't know about rpgiv.
TIA, Lance
