We have just configured our AS/400 to send email using the SNDDST command.
We are puzzled as to where the timestamp is coming from.  The timestamp is
5 hours behind.

Look at this system value

QUTCOFFSET  *DATTIM  Coordinated universal time offset

System value . . . . . :   QUTCOFFSET
Description  . . . . . :   Coordinated universal time offset


Offset . . . . . . . . :   -05:00     -24:00 to +24:00




This is for central standard time!
