Especially since he said, and I quote:

     In this regard, please call me.  It's not that 
     opinions are either secret, or that I have a 
     vested interest, but I am clearly not interested 
     in opening a public debate.  Regardless, I fell 
     that the Lakeview is the *ONLY vendor to consider.

He's a business partner, but has no vested interest??????  Yeah, right!  And
he just happens to feel Lakeview that is the *ONLY vendor to consider????
IMO, those statements are blatantly misleading.
