NO clue how to config a 3489 BUT I will bet its' address is not what you need.
Assuming you have f/c 5540 system console attached to twinax adapter ( might be 5544)

5540 says sys console is driven by a twinax adapter the the following are added to the order

f/c 4746 PCI twinaxial IOA (Console)
f/c 9771 base PCI 2 line WAN w/Modem

5544 says Sys console attached to WAN adapter console driven by Operations console via a WAN adapter
following are added to order:

4745 PCI two-line WAN IOA (console0
0367 Operations console PCI cable
9771 base PCI 2 line WAN w/Modem

IS THE CONSOLE CARD IN SLOT 2 or 4 of the multi adapter Bridge bus
is another clue as to which you have

Wait a second here... there are eight slots on the brick... are those PORT
numbers? And then I have to configure the TERMINAL to an address???

If so, how the heck do I configure the 3489?

(Shows how long it's been since I've done any twinax)
