RE: TCP/IP

It drops at different times - not predictable.  The cables are all run
directly from the PC's to an SMC EZ 10/100 hub.

The first PC had an SMC EZNet 10/100 card and the other 2 had integrated NIC
cards.  My PC is using the exact same SMC EZNet card and I have had no
problems.

(Assume that TCP is client access method)

1)Have not found definitive answers for these type of problems, (I know
someone here has).
I am very interested in answers. (Good faq material)

2)Can you time the disconnect or check the job logs and tell us if you can
predict it?

3)Is this PC going through a different route than everyone else?

4) Did you use different Ethernet interface cards in those PC's or move it
with

5) Same version of Windows on each test?
