You can Vary off and On the device - that will trigger it, or start
another subsystem that can accept the device and then immediately stop
it (assign a sign-on screen to that *SBSD which is all blank so that
nobody can accidentally sign-on to it). That will flash it twice but
will get every device on a sign-on screen automatically.
