MIDRANGE dot COM FAQ-O-Matic

In the FAQ thread, someone mentioned "FAQ-O-Matic."  David Gibbs (kind host
of these mailing lists) has set up a page on his web site that uses this
software.

The basic idea behind this software is that it isn't composed by a single
individual; it's composed by the users of the FAQ.  That means that the work
of constructing the FAQ is spread out among many individuals.  That also
means that if nobody contributes, the FAQ will not grow.  You "register"
with your email address and a password so spammers can't forge a post.  I
think you'll find this FAQ easier to search than the archives are.

Here's your chance to help those who will follow you!  If you've asked a
question and learnt the answer, please post it to the FAQ!
