We had the same thing happen at our place when we trid to use the internet and CAExpress at the same time, your CAExpress is trying to find the AS400 on the internet. Use the add route command on the PC.

Subject: Client Access and Instant Messaging

Has anyone experienced PCs locking up when runing both CA and Instant Messaging (either MSN or AOL)?

THE USER now considers Instant Messaging a key technology.  Darn users ;)  Anyway, the combo of CA Express (V4R4) on the latest PTF and either of the Instant Messenger clients, causes the emulation to hang.  The PCs are running W98 and W95.

Thanks
