Frank, am I missing something obvious here? A malicious hacker can do all the damage he/she wants with plain 'ole CL, RPG, COBOL, etc. APIs are not required here. As far as determining what the "important production files" are, I suppose someone could use information from DSPOBJD to determine object size (big file? = important), last date used, number of days used. DSPFD can show number of different accesses. What makes a file an "important production file"? I'm very curious as to what made you ask this particular question.
