Ok,  It's IBM's marketing or lack of it.  The problem is at the top.
Lou says;

Now what suggestions can we give to Buell Duncan if,

Advertising functions being not under Buell's control, but reporting
through a separate line into Lou.

Public Relations and Press being not under Buell's control, but reporting
through a separate line into Lou.

iSeries' profit not being invested back into iSeries marketing, but
into the Marketing of Future Products (ie read Linux)


Within those parameters,  What constructive suggestions can everyone give?

I would like to know.
