Hi Folks,

I KNOW this has been debated around so here you go (from NEWSWire/400 -
02.22.01)

...it's unlikely that there will ever be an iSeries laptop.

"The next generation Power4 chip will never fit into a ThinkPad,"  says
Frank Soltis, IBM iSeries chief scientist. "It dissipates about  125
watts, so your ThinkPad might melt as you are holding it. Any  thought
of a ThinkPad iSeries is long gone."
