Dale,

Thanks! The Ricoh offers PCL5, PCL5e and PCL6 emulation so I should be able
to use a HP5 emulation type. I was just looking to see if anyone ahd the same
exact Ricoh model already in use. Thanks again.

Jim, try something along these lines:

   CRTOUTQ OUTQ( QGPL/HAWAIIP1 ) +
           RMTSYS( *INTNETADR ) +
           RMTPRTQ( PORT1 ) +
           AUTOSTRWTR( 1 ) +
           CNNTYPE( *IP ) +
           DESTTYPE( *OTHER ) +
           TRANSFORM( *YES ) +
           MFRTYPMDL( *HP5SI ) +
           INTNETADR( '199.99.49.4' ) +
           SEPPAGE( *NO ) +
TEXT( 'Packing slip printer out queue' )

You may have to try different MFRTYPMDL values, but if the Ricohs offer HP
compatibility, you should be able to use one of those. Use F4 to prompt the
MFRTYPMDL parameter to see your choices.

Hello,

My employer has procured several Ricoh multi-function printer/copier
devices and installed them on the network. Model number is listed as 551.
Before I reinvent the wheel, has anyone defined AS/400 IP OUTQ or *LAN print
devices on the AS/400 to spool print jobs to a Ricoh 551? We would want to
use TCP/IP protocol and the AS/400 is at V4R4M0. Thanks, for any help.
