Bob, Get to list of all members, enter option 25 in first entry, press F13 to duplicate to the end-of-list. press <Enter>. The string find screen will be displayed, the rest is self explanatory. If you want to run in batch, I believe there is an option on this screen for search in batch. If not there is another funsction, maybe f14 which will give options "compile in batch" and "run find string in Batch". Give it a shot. Good Luck. >From: "Bob Randall" <BLR@airxcel.com> >Reply-To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com >To: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> >Subject: Find and Replace >Date: Mon, 12 Feb 2001 13:19:52 -0600 >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from [192.160.127.90] by hotmail.com (3.2) with ESMTP id >MHotMailBC5195300023D820F3B2C0A07F5A0EAD0; Mon Feb 12 12:40:20 2001 >Received: (from uucp@localhost)by uucphost.mcs.net (8.11.1/8.11.1) with >UUCP id f1CKeFh99877;Mon, 12 Feb 2001 14:40:15 -0600 (CST)(envelope-from >midrange-l-owner@midrange.com) >Received: from localhost (mail@localhost)by linux.midrange.com >(8.9.3/8.8.7) with SMTP id OAA31139;Mon, 12 Feb 2001 14:30:47 -0600 >Received: by linux.midrange.com (bulk_mailer v1.13); Mon, 12 Feb 2001 >14:30:41 -0600 >Received: (from majordom@localhost)by linux.midrange.com (8.9.3/8.8.7) id >OAA30904for midrange-l-outgoing; Mon, 12 Feb 2001 14:30:29 -0600 >Received: (from uucp@localhost)by linux.midrange.com (8.9.3/8.8.7) with >UUCP id OAA30879for MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com; Mon, 12 Feb 2001 14:30:27 >-0600 >Received: from InterJet.airxcel.com ([63.118.159.130])by uucphost.mcs.net >(8.11.1/8.11.1) with ESMTP id f1CJJbc86250for <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com>; >Mon, 12 Feb 2001 13:19:37 -0600 (CST)(envelope-from BLR@airxcel.com) >Received: from randall (bob.airxcel.com.airxcel.com [123.2.1.182])by >InterJet.airxcel.com (8.9.1a/8.9.1) with SMTP id NAA54473for ><MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com>; Mon, 12 Feb 2001 13:19:56 -0600 (CST) >From midrange-l-owner@midrange.com Mon Feb 12 12:40:54 2001 >Message-ID: <DEEPKMCCIMAIPHFAIFMPOECLCHAA.BLR@Airxcel.com> >X-Priority: 3 (Normal) >X-MSMail-Priority: Normal >X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook IMO, Build 9.0.2416 (9.0.2911.0) >X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.50.4133.2400 >In-Reply-To: <200102121804.f1CI4nG154384@westrelay01.boulder.ibm.com> >Importance: Normal >Sender: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com >X-List-Name: Midrange Systems Mailing List (MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com) > >I am looking for a method to do a mass "find and replace" operation >(preferably in batch) on a source file with many members.
