RE: file encryption

Thanks for all your responses and ideas.  I still have not found the answer
I am looking for, but the idea of putting the data on the IFS and using a PC
to encrypt the file and then using the AS400 to FTP the data sounds
interesting.  I have an idea of how to automate this, so it sounds very
doable.  I will do a little more research and testing and let you guys know
how this works out.

I don't know if we're supposed to be "hawking our wares" on midrange-l, but
