With EZPrint you just set up an outq to look for a specific file name, form type, etc.. what form to merge it with, and presto.  A printable form on any TCPIP laser printer.

What I noticed in many installations with these type of products, is that there is a need to write various CL programs that will handle the inherent quirkiness of the product and OS/400 outq messaging. With EZPrint, is this the case as well?

I have several clients using Ezprint.  Some control it from an IT perspective while others allow a great deal of user control.

Are there any products or free programs that greatly simplify the forms printing merge with spool file process, that would make it possible to be largely user controlled?

Thanks,

Frank
