STRHOSTSVR *all on the AS/400 trying to connect to Angie Wawrzaszek M.I.S. Department -----Original Message----- From: Sistema400@aol.com [mailto:Sistema400@aol.com] Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 12:03 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: CA Express question I have established a SLIP connection from a remote PC to the AS/400.. (no problem there) When I launch a TELNET session (which contains IP Address, System Name, etc) from CAE and enter ID and password, I get the following message: CWBCO1003 - WINSOCK Error - Function return 10061 Now, when i go to help or details, it only says to start the SIGNON server (which has been running) and it gives no more info.... Any suggestions? Has anybody gone through a similar or same problem?
