RE: password security -- MIDRANGE-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Sayeth the help on the CHGPWD command:
"Numeric passwords must be preceeded by the letter Q. For example, if the
password is to be 1234, it must be entered on the CHGPWD (Change Password)
screen as Q1234."

I have a user that blew my mind, his old password was 1212
he now changed it (30 days expire) to 121212 -
not the brightest thing, but at least people are cooperating

how in the world could a user do this, and yet another attempted 1010tree
and
could not change the password -
