That is one of the options - we already extensively use TME.  I was hoping
also there might be alternate vendors so I can get a price / feature
comparison from.  The hardware requirements for supporting TME can be
excessive sometimes and not all clients are prepared to wear this cost.

Why not use the Tivoli "enterprise" products that are almost identical to
what you use with IT Director?  You are already familiar with Tivoli and
the time for re-training will be a whole lot less.  And, I bet Tivoli will
minimize the impact ($) of the change.
