Cray uses MacIntosh to design the Cray. You expect MS to dictate to a service bureau? And then people complain about Microsoft trying to "control the world". -- Don Schenck Schenck Technical Consulting DonS@SchenckTech.com / www.SchenckTech.com -----Original Message----- From: Glenn Ericson [mailto:Glenn-Ericson@att.net] Sent: January 11, 2001 11:29 AM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: AS/400s Extinct at Microsoft At 10:21 AM 01/11/2001 -0500, Al Barsa wrote: Although IBM is very mum, it is known that M$ uses a service bureau for some processing, and that service bureau uses 400's. I would trust M$ as far as I can throw all of Bill Gates' money. Al Al which way would you be throwing Gates buck$? You have to admit they are telling a guarded truth, as the service bureau chose the AS400 not M$ products to run M$ bu$ine$$ Glenn __________________________________ Glenn Ericson, IBM Certified Specialist Phoenix Consulting LLC East Elmhurst, NY USA Phone 718 898 9805 Fax 718 446 1150 mailto:Glenn-Ericson@att.net <mailto:Glenn-Ericson@att.net> ___________________________________ +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
