WOW...

Perfect example of the problem with search engines and how stuff is "categorized" :-)

I did exactly what you noted and used "wholesale distribution packages" and got a listing of 3 titles with Wholesale Distribution and none of them included Mincron (the company we use). So I searched with the Mincron name only...

See  http://www.ibm.com/search?q=Mincron&realm=ibm&v=10&lang=en&cc=us&Go.x=3&Go.y=2

A bunch of stuff is being called "Wholesale Industry Solution Developers"... I guess you/me would have gotten the combination of your search results and my search results using only Wholesale...

I think you may be right.  I don't know if IBM still sells this as a
bundled solution but it may be worth looking into.

I went to the following site
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/
and told it to search for wholesale distribution packages and got several
hits, among them Harris Data.  Weeding out the high end from the low end
might be a chore.  I didn't see Para research on the list.  But their
website is active and they have green screen or GUI, interfaces to Notes
and what not.

I think you may be referring to Para Research, www.pararesearch.com , but I
can't tell you much more.  They use to advertise quite heavily in years
gone by.
