Have you considered Ftp'ing the file directly to the regular AS/400 file structure and bypassing the IFS altogether? Then of course you could put a trigger on the file to perform whatever new function you desire? _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ "Avi Hecht" <avi_hecht@hotmail.com> Sent by: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com 01/06/2001 05:48 AM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L To: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> cc: Subject: IFS Hi , Thanks for the input on IFS . What I have in mind and need is similar to a data queue to an output queue and by using an API program QRCVDTAQ with a wait condition of -1 inside it to manipulate the data . I alraedy use CPYTOSTMF & CPYFRMSTMF in a CPP but I need it to be automatic .
