That's what I was looking for but it's not available on their system at
V4R2.

Change the FTP server configuration
chgftpa namefmt(*PATH)

*LIB is probally what it is currently set at.

end & restart the FTP server. You cannot change by logon that I know of
without using a exit program.

Subject: FTP and RS6000

I have a customer who's partner needs to FTP our AS/400 at V4R2 a file many
times a day.

When he starts his FTP session, he is using NAMEFMT 0.

He needs to be using 1.

His automatic software on the RS/6000 has no way of inserting commands
before his CD and his PUT command.

Is there a way that I can default his AS/400 profile to the right directory?

I tried using the HOMEDIR parm on the CHGUSRPRF command, but that does not
work.

Thanks.
