Leif,

The IBM AS/400 FTP server does a reverse lookup on its own domain name. If
DNS is configured to be searched first it will take 30 seconds to fail over
on the search and give you the user prompt. Just put the AS/400 name in DNS
and it will resolve this problem (you can see the transaction in a comms
trace it you want).
