One may want to consider the effect of reorganizing a file based on one of
it's index's (or logical files, for those stuck with DDS).  You'd have to
have poorer performance after doing a RGZPFM done with a utility versus a
RGZPFM done with a good KEYFILE option.

Dave,

This is a simple utitlity you can write yourself.

Just do a DSPFD TYPE(*MBRLIST) of the required library (only the *PF) to an
outfile.
Read through the outfile and test the field "Number of deleted records".
If grater than 0, run RGZPFM command with the fields supllied by the
outfile.
So all members of all the requested files in the requested library will be
reorganized.

If you have a little patience, I can e-mail you such an utility in the next
year
with the posibility to reorganize 50 libraries as a maximum.
