Prototype calls don't support MODS, right? -- MIDRANGE-L

Our system is designed to use a 'subfile server' program that is called from the main subfile program (which just handles screen I/O). The subfile server reads the database file, loads a multiple occurance data structure and passes the information back to the subfile program to display the information. Our applications support multiple sort options, and this keeps our main subfile program a lot cleaner by externalizing the read of the database file.

My question.......we're reading different articles that tell us to use CallP, but prototypes don't support MODS. Are we doing something that isn't feasible, or do we have other options?
