Try using *auto for linespeed and duplex. It seems to auto configure to
switches/hubs better. You mentioned you are connecting to a router, does
this mean your router has a built in hub/switch?

Subject: Full Duplex Problem

I'm testing on my new RISC box. The LAN is connected via 10/100 routers
(ethernet). The ethernet line on the AS/400 is configured as
LINKSPEED(100M), LINESPEED(100M), and DUPLEX(*FULL).

However, the full duplex LED on the router does not light for whatever
port I connect the AS/400 to. I know the LEDs all work because I can
switch the cords around, and it's always the port with the AS/400
connected that has the full duplex light go off. Anyone have any idea
why that port would not register as full duplex? The IBM CE is stumped.
