Don:

Frontpage does not appear to be 400 friendly.  I've had to publish
the site to my linux system, and then FTP the files to the 400 from
there.

You might try contacting Ready To Run Software (http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport),
as they have ported the extensions to unixes.

I don't think the extensions are public domain or open source, otherwise
I'd suggest starting a project of our own to port them.
