You only need a RCLSTG after an abnormal
termination of OS/400 caused by the system crashing. An abnormal
termination after running the ENDJOBABN command likely will not require a
RCLSTG.
There are other occasions when either the system will ask you for a
RCLSTG, or when counts go out of balance, all of which are fixed by
RCLSTG. (For example, the number of objects owned by a user profile
or the number of logical files associated with a physical file.)
