The amazing thing about SMTP on the AS/400 is how it is controlled by the entries in your host table (option 10 from the CFGTCP menu). By enterring your domain name, just your Domain name (EXAMPLE.COM), associated with the AS/400s IP address, the SMTP server deliver all email in the domain EXAMPLE.COM to local users (if they exist). Don't add a host name to the entry (i.e. My400.EXAMPLE.COM). The 400 will then keep all EXAMPLE.COM email within the local AS/400. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Fritz Hayes fritz@pacinfosys.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
