Bill,

If the other system is an AS/400 you can use an SNA connection and SNADS to
transmit the file. If the other system is an IBM mainframe or VAN system,
you can use 2780/3780 BSC dial. We have a product that does this called
BankLink/400 (http://www.patownsend.com) or I think you can find some
examples in the AS/400 BSC manual. Lastly, if you have a newer AS/400 you
can do PPP dial.
