A couple of things to check :-
How are the PCs and AS/400 connected to the LAN?
Are they on the same LAN?
What hardware, routers etc, are between the PCs and the AS/400?
Are you routers IP configured or are they DLSW or SNA?
Are there routes between the PCs and the AS/400?
Do the PCs have host table entries for the AS/400?
Check the Host Servers (STRHOSTSVR *ALL command) have been started?
Check the Telnet service is running (STRTCPSVR *TELNET)?
There are numerous other variables to consider. I would need more
information on the LAN setup to provide further info. Email me off list if
you require further assistance.

Hi,
I have a customer with an OS V3R7 (last PTF 98314). All of the PC are
connected with Client Access throught NS-Router. I would like to connect
some more PC throught TCP-IP. After configuring the AS400 and 2 PC
I can ping the AS400 on itself
I can ping the 2 PC beetween them
I can't ping the AS400 from a PC (or a PC from the AS400).
Do I need something special on V3R7 (PTF, SBS ... ), to use IP
