RE: FTP GET Failing on Large Save FilesAll, I was in error when I stated that one connection was behind a firewall. As it turns out, I pass through 2 firewalls to that 400. I was able to get one completed GET (quality unknown) but only when I was connected at 26.4K and NOT v.90 speeds AND someone was watching the route while it was happening. Doesn't it always work that way! :-) Though I am not a network person (and don't play one on TV) I guess the rub lies between the 400 and an IBM router. For some reason when a fair number of IP packets get dropped, the 400 gets mad and quits. Who would think that v.90 speeds are too fast for a 170. It kinda reminds me of the original SNL players - Not Ready For Prime Time. Eric/Guy, >Did you try sending a QUOTE PASV to the AS/400? Thanks for pointing out the correct way to send PASVon a Win2K client. I was hoping that would be the ticket but binary GETS in Passive mode failed also. Neil, Thanks for the PTF tip. Unfortunatley that PTF was installed. Larry, The microcode upgrade to the routers/firewalls didn't work either. Brad/Mark, Thanks for the moral support. Thanks to all who have responded for my cry for help!
