Hi all, Next week I plan to add 3 new #6824 disks to out 720 (V4R3) in an attempt to remove 24 old #9337's from our main ASP config, I will be keeping the old disks to create a second ASP for non business critical data. My question's are : when I come to move the data off the 9337's across to the rest of the disks what exactly is involved, will I have to suspend RAID, do I have to do 1 tray of disks (i.e. 1 parity set) at a time ? SST shows 2 parity sets of 8 disks each and 2 parity sets of 4 disks each. Also any guesses on how long it will take to transfer the data across, the disks are about 85% full at present Also if there's anything I haven't thought of !!! Any help or advice greatly appreciated regards Neil +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
