I just joined the list and saw a set of terms and conditions that don't
specifically forbid personal statements of availability.  They _DO_
forbid advertisements and trawling for potential staff.  Surely if one
specialist needs a job and someone else needs a specialist then such a
post might solve TWO problems?

Having said that, the Ts&Cs also clearly point out the existence of
MIDRANGE-JOBS on the same server ...
