Arlene - I have created a separate library that holds the journal receivers for my production journal, which resides in the production library. I occasionally (4 times a day) use the SAVLIB command to save all the receivers to tape. After a receiver has been saved to tape, I delete it the next day. I'm currently using a TAA Tool to delete old journal receivers. You don't have to keep saved receivers on the system unless you need them for some reason such as auditing etc... If I need to restore receivers, I just use the RSTOBJ command to restore any receivers I require back into the journal receiver library. Information stored in the journal receiver will insure they are reconnected with the journal. Kenneth -- ******************************** Kenneth E. But what I don't know is how or what I need to restore to be able to read those entries again. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
