Just got this in the mail today - Linoma Software's Surveyor/400 apparently
offers 5250 emulation in their graphical database utility package. Says its
"interface was developed using pure Java, meaning the product operates on
Win95/98/NT or any OS installed with a compliant Java VM..." It requires a
TCP/IP connection.

They offer a single-user license for free, although it appears to be limited
to OS versions V4R2 & higher. V4R1 & lower, it's just a 30-day evaluation,
don't know if they will extend it or not.

Anyone had any experience with CA type products for Linux? or for that
matter know of any manufacturer with firm plans in place?

Requirement is for 5250 minimum with File Up/Download capability if
available. Ops Nav capabilities would be nice too.
