If the AS400 and the client trying to access the shared directory are on
different subnets, you may or may not see the AS400 via Network Neigborhood,
depending on the routers used between subnets. We have found that if you use
the IP address for the AS400 when mapping the shared directory, it will work,
i.e. \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\qpdf. Also, if you created the directory below the
root, i.e. \mydir\nextdir, if you share the directory with a share name of
'nextdir', you do not need to specify the real path (i.e. \mydir\nextdir), just
map as \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\nextdir and the share will know the path.

Subject: Netserver File Share

I am trying to share an IFS file to my users.
I am on an AS400 720 at V4R3. I have Netserver running with my users signed
on as guest for print sharing.
So it know it works.
I am trying this because my users do not have CA. I am creating pdf docs on
400 and want users to view them and print them.
Everything I read says that is the way to do it.
